We are open from approximately May 1st mid to late October, depending upon the weather, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

We currently have Jackson Riviera Kayaks and Electra Bikes.

Our crew will review safe boating operations and conditions with you, upon your arrival. We’ll give you the inside tip on great places to swim as well!

The process is simple follow your guide back to the starting point. All tours beginning and ending at our warehouse located at 436 West Front Street Traverse City.

All safety equipment, including life jackets, is included with the cost of each rental.

Our last weekday tour currently leaves at 4:30pm, on busy weekends we offer a 5pm tour.

We take walk-ins, however we strongly recommend making a reservation to ensure availability, and so you get the equipment you are interested in. 

Yes as a part of your rental agreement, a valid major credit card must be on file to cover any potential incidentals or damages incurred during your rental.

Our crew will guide you through a kayak orientation, and safety information, before you get out on the water.

We reserve the right to combine tour times if less than 6 people are on a tour. This allows for us to show you a better time and have more fun!

Tickets are 100% refundable up to 14 days prior to date! Within 14 days 50% will be refunded up to 72 hours before your tour. Under 72 hours no refund will be given. Event is rain or shine and subject to weather. We have the right to use our discretion and cancel tour dependent on weather. We will still go if its overcast or drizzling. We also have the right to use our discretion and re-direct or cancel a tour in the unlikely event that debris or the detection of a potentially hazardous substance makes any portion of our tour unsafe. We also reserve the right to change your reservation time within one hour of the scheduled reservation time to combine with other groups if your group is too small.

Once a tour has started no refunds will be given if the tour is cut short due to weather or choice of not to continue. If a tour is postponed at a brewery due to weather we wait at that location up to 2 hours before cancelling the remaining portion of the tour, if a tour is cancelled due to this a reschedule voucher will be given, no refunds will be given.

Tours are held regardless of weather (rain or shine).

NO SHOWS are charged in full for the rental period reserved. Any party that has not arrived by the scheduled time of the rental shall be deemed a NO SHOW.

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation for violations to our policies.

We reserve the right, solely at our discretion, to reschedule and/or cancel your reservation in the event of inclement weather. Reservations cancelled do to weather (or any other VALID and APPROVED reason) during the rental period will be given a voucher for credit toward use of same or similar piece of equipment at later date or time, or in the form of a dollar amount to be used on our alternative equipment, and such vouchers will be determined at the sole discretion of Kayak Brewery Tours Staff.

Our website is hosted on a secure SSL server and our reservation system is PCI compliant.

Our single kayaks accommodate one person while the double kayaks hold two people.
